Posted on December 28th, 2011 by Laura Fonda

Curbed, an online site for real estate goings-on, has put Queen Anne in the final four of its Curb Cup, a competition to see which neighborhood will be the neighborhood of the year. Queen Anne is facing off with Capitol Hill. Curbed has ranked Queen Anne as the underdog claiming a Queen Anne victory would be a “Cinderella story.” Click here to vote.

Looks like the voting ended early this morning. Why would you post this a day late?

Should have been yesterday. Today’s vote is between Ballard and Fremont.

Because that’s how The View rolls, Andrew!

What else would you expect from a blog that denigrates the recently deceased, refuses to publish descriptions of lost dogs, tolerates rampant libel on it’s sister sites- and censors those that point this out, and routinely proves it’s anything but an impartial news source?

    Watch this be removed.

“tolerates rampant libel on it’s sister sites” – For example?

An individual on myballard.com who repeatedly claimed-without any supporting documentation and in complete contrast to the King County Health Department’s online records- that Salmon Bay Cafe had sickened several people due to unsanitary conditions and the mishandling of food. The individual went so far as to routinely refer to Salmon Bay Cafe as “Salmonella Bay Cafe.”

When this was brought to the moderator’s attention via the mesage function, nothing was done. Then, when it was pointed out in the open forum and that nothing was being done, anyone mentioning the situation was banned.

If that’s not “tolerating rampant libel,” I don’t know what is.

In fact, I’d actually say it goes past tolerating and more into the supporting category.
