Seattle glass artist Jean-Pierre Canlis on his Miniature Green Bamboo piece: “I first made glass sculpted bamboo stalks in a large-scale capacity, up to eight feet in height. Realizing that not everyone has a place for this type of installation, I decided to create smaller scale sculptures that easily sit on a desk, in a niche, on a kitchen counter, etc. I love the bright green colors in this installation in particular.
