If you’re looking to kick off the holidays on Friday, check out the Seattle Center Winterfest activities – they are numerous, so not listed individually below. Additional events are listed below, and traffic-wise, Metro is on a reduced schedule and there are plenty of events that will impact your travels around Queen Anne and downtown. So, plan ahead and enjoy the many events over the long weekend!

Weekend Traffic Impacts:
Aurora Bridge: Bridge reduced to one lane in each direction and the Fremont Way N southbound on-ramp to the Aurora Bridge will be closed, Sunday through Thursday nights (9am-5am) through mid-December
Metro: Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov 22, Metro will operate a Sunday schedule; on Friday, Nov 23, Metro will operate reduced weekday service. Sunday, Nov 25 expect slight route revisions due to Seattle Marathon route.
I-5: Saturday, Nov 24, southbound Union Street I-5 off-ramp closed from 8:30-10:30am; other downtown exits will experience heavy traffic due to the annual Macy’s Holiday Parade beginning at 9am.
Mercer: Sunday, Nov 25, the Seattle Marathon will go through the Mercer Corridor Project area with temporary lane closures 7am-4pm including: Republican from Eastlake Ave E to Dexter Ave N and Fairview Ave N from Harrison to Mercer St
Additional Seattle Marathon Traffic Impacts: Sunday, Nov 25, I-90 express lanes closed to all traffic 3:45-11:15am; I-5 express lanes closed until 9am; northbound I-5 off-ramp to Lakeview Boulevard closed 7am-4pm; westbound 520 exit to E. Roanoke Street closed 7am-3pm
