Remember when I referred to last weekend as the “calm before the holiday storm”? Well, the storm is approaching, but it’s not the destructive kind, it’s the roller-coaster, something-for-everything, fun-to-be-a-part of storm! Check out the slew of events, both holiday and otherwise this weekend. There are events for film buffs, holiday shoppers, culture seekers, festive events, and those newly licensed for marriage!
Weekend Traffic Impacts:
- Aurora Bridge: Bridge reduced to one lane in each direction and the Fremont Way N southbound on-ramp to the Aurora Bridge will be closed, Sunday through Thursday nights (9pm-5am) through December 13; Intermittent sidewalk closures across the Aurora Bridge Dec 3 to Dec 21 – one side will always be open, signs will direct pedestrian traffic.
- Downtown: 6th Annual Great Figgy Pudding Street Corner Caroling Competition, Westlake Center Plaza, streets closed 5:45-9pm: Pine Street between Third and Seventh avenues, and Fifth Avenue between Olive Way and Pike Street.
