The Pacific Northwest Ballet is planning 3 public performances of Hansel & Gretel, an hour-long Family Matinee performance designed for children and families. There are two performances on Sunday, March 17 (noon and 3:30pm) and one on Saturday (3:30pm) March 23. Tickets are on sale now for this limited run.
The Family Matinee production of Hansel & Gretel features students of the Pacific Northwest Ballet School (including some Queen Anne students – more on them in coming weeks) and a very special guest, former PNB principal dancer Ariana Lallone. The narrated ballet tells the fairy-tale of Hansel and Gretel, and is timed for children at 60 minutes. It serves as a great introduction to dance and theater for the younger crowd. Performances also include pre-show activities including crafts and dance classes for the young and young-at-heart.
