Prepare now for Wednesday’s commute – Key Arena is hosting We Day Seattle and expects 15,000 attendees. The event runs from 9am-2:30pm, with doors opening at 8am. The city is expecting traffic to be especially heavy on I-5 and Mercer during the morning and afternoon commutes.

The event celebrates the “power of youth to create positive change in their local and global communities” and the featured speaker is Mikhail Gorbachev. The attendees will arrive via 200+ buses and private vehicles, so make your alternate route and/or travel time adjustments in advance.
