You may remember the early tip we had on a new sushi spot coming to Upper Queen Anne – back in May, it was just a simple sign on the old Pinkabella window promising “sushi soon” with a June date.

Sushi Samurai logoFast forward to today, and Sushi Samurai is open for business at 1817 Queen Anne Ave N.

According to owners Kat and Ray, Sushi Samurai is a family friendly, easy going sushi restaurant. They encourage patrons to relax and take their time trying the various sushi wares.

Ray, who’s not only the owner, but also the sushi chef, invites patrons to his sushi bar as if it were his home. A wide selection of fish is featured in rolls, nigiri, and sashimi, and much of it is sustainable.

Sushi Samurai is now open 7 days a week. Monday through Friday the restaurant is open 11:30am-3pm, and 4-9pm with a happy hour that runs from 4-6pm. Saturday and Sunday they’re open for dinner service only from 4-9pm.

They’re looking forward to meeting the neighborhood, so stop by and say “welcome to Queen Anne”!
