As part of the ongoing Mercer Corridor project, new changes will take effect starting tomorrow, Monday, July 22nd and run for approximately two weeks. SDOT will be closing single lanes on the I-5 on-ramps at Mercer intermittently during the daytime so that crews can install curb barriers and landscaping.
The ramps will remain open, with only one lane closed at a time, leaving 3 open on eastbound Mercer St. A single lane on eastbound Mercer also will be closed between Boren and the I-5 on-ramps at Mercer. Work hours will be 9am-3pm, with three lanes of Mercer and the I-5 on-ramps remaining open during the work.
