Do you recognize this Queen Anne Menchie’s employee? Did he ring up your order, clean your table, or answer any questions? Well, if he did, then your service delivered by a C-level employee – the CEO, to be exact. Amit Kleinberger , the CEO of Menchie’s, worked at the Queen Anne location for the TV show Undercover Boss – it airs this Friday on KIRO at 8pm.
According to Menchie’s, Amit is the youngest CEO to ever appear on the CBS series. If you tune in, you’ll get to see him at the Queen Anne location greeting guests (perhaps you were one of them?) and cleaning tables.
What did Amit learn from his stint at the Queen Anne Menchie’s? He plans to implement several changes across the Menchie’s locations including revisions to employee recognition and management training programs.
And, apparently he found his experience at our local Menchie’s to be enlightening – he’s planning to work in Menchie’s stores on a monthly basis going forward in order to “get more connected with the day-to-day store operations.”
