Seattle Animal Shelter Pet of the Week: Fritz

Pet of the Week

On Fridays we feature an adoptable pet from the Seattle Animal Shelter (SAS). SAS is located at 2061 15th Ave W, just north of Whole Foods, at the corner of W. Armory Way. SAS is open Wednesday – Sunday, noon-6pm.

Queen Anne View has not met any of these pets – SAS is providing us with the description, as they know them well. We encourage potential adopters to get in touch with SAS and work with them to evaluate the compatibility of your home and a new pet.

Pep up your holidays with Fritz!

Fritz is a 10 month old bundle of exuberance and energy. He has a sweet puppy personality and a hound’s goofy playfulness. He is a happy-go-lucky character who is sure to charm you when you meet him.

Fritz will benefit from training (what teenager wouldn’t?), but he is smart, eager to learn and treat motivated, so he should make an excellent student. He has already learned sit and is determined to discover all kinds of good doggie behavior.

Fritz 2013-12-19 3Fritz will thrive in a high-energy home where he can join you on hikes, long walks or jogging around Green Lake. He enjoys a good game of fetch and after an active day, likes nothing better than to curl up next to you for some snuggling and affection. All this fun loving, attractive boy is missing is a place to call home for the holidays.

Fritz (SAS IS #13-11888) is at the Seattle Animal Shelter. Dog Adoption Applications are available in the Shelter lobby, or you may download the application and bring it with you to the Shelter or follow the directions to submit it via email or fax. If you have general questions about this dog, you may call the Shelter’s Animal Care Staff at 206-386-4294.
