During the closure:
- Travelers heading north on 5th Ave N will be detoured to 4th Ave N and eastbound Mercer St to reconnect with 5th Ave N at Mercer St
- Police officers will be stationed at 5th Ave N and Republican St, and 4th Ave N and Mercer St to facilitate traffic flow
- Travelers heading towards Queen Anne and the Seattle Center from I-5 or downtown should use eastbound Broad Street or Denny Way and 1st Ave N as alternate routes.
Per SDOT, expect delays and use alternate routes when possible.
