Seattle Animal Shelter Pet of the Week: Harper

Posted on January 18th, 2014 by Laura Fonda

On Fridays we feature an adoptable pet from the Seattle Animal Shelter (SAS). SAS is located at 2061 15th Ave W, just north of Whole Foods, at the corner of W. Armory Way. SAS is open Wednesday – Sunday, noon-6pm.

Queen Anne View has not met any of these pets – SAS is providing us with the description, as they know them well. We encourage potential adopters to get in touch with SAS and work with them to evaluate the compatibility of your home and a new pet.

Looking for your soul mate? Come meet Harper!!

Harper is a freckle faced, strawberry blond with soft, wavy locks and big, brown eyes, who is seeking her soul mate. She enjoys long, leisurely strolls, snuggling on the couch, and giving and receiving lots of affection.

Harper is a gentle spirit who has fallen on some rough times, so she can be a little shy at first. But a few gentle caresses, a warm smile and some TLC are sure to get her tail wagging!

Harper 2014-1-16 2She’s a smart, sweet girl who would enjoy a quiet, zen-garden life partner. Harper has a few tricks up her sleeve, but there’s so much more she could do with a loving partner who is willing to take the time to teach her more.

A little tenderness, a trip to the salon, a good scratch behind the ears, and you’ll be on the way to a beautiful relationship. What more could you want in the perfect life partner?

Harper (SAS #13-12443) is at the Seattle Animal Shelter. Dog Adoption Applications are available in the Shelter lobby, or you may download the application and bring it with you to the Shelter or follow the directions to submit it via email or fax.
