For the second time in almost 3 months, the Upper Queen Anne Wells Fargo branch has been robbed. The last robbery took place on October 25th, today’s robbery occurred around 10:30am.
SPD hasn’t posted an update on its Blotter yet, but according to KING 5:
At 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, the Seattle Police Department received a call about a bank robbery at the Wells Fargo on the 1600 block of Queen Anne Blvd.
The male suspect robbed the bank and fled. He was described as a man in his 20s with short, red hair, glasses and facial hair. Seattle police say he was wearing a long brown jacket.
Coe Elementary, Queen Anne Elementary and John Hay Elementary took shelter.
SPD is investigating the scene.
