The annual Queen Anne Helpline Fun Run/Walk is two and a half weeks away! If you’re not running or walking on July 12th, you can still participate! Obviously, you can cheer people on, but how about helping out with safety?

QAH Fun Run 2014You can volunteer to be a crossing guard for the Fun Run – helping out the Helpline and keeping the event a safe one. The organizers needs 15 crossing guards, and all you need to do is volunteer your Saturday morning time to a good (and fun) cause.

Crossing guards need to be available between 7am and 9:30am on Saturday, July 12th. If you’re interested in volunteering, contact Ann Pearce at 206-284-0604 or via email.

If you want to run or walk, registration is open through July 10th. The fee for runners or walkers is $25, and kids ages 5 and under are free. Proceeds benefit the Helpline and you get a t-shirt too!

The Fun Run benefits the Helpline, so consider running, walking, or volunteering to help out!
