Seattle Animal Shelter Pet of the Week: Pria
Posted on August 8th, 2014 by Sara Willy
On Fridays we feature an adoptable pet from the Seattle Animal Shelter (SAS). SAS is located at 2061 15th Ave W, just north of Whole Foods, at the corner of W. Armory Way. SAS is open Wednesday – Sunday, noon-6pm.
Queen Anne View has not met any of these pets – SAS is providing us with the description, as they know them well. We encourage potential adopters to get in touch with SAS and work with them to evaluate the compatibility of your home and a new pet.
Updates on previous pets:
Angie (cattle dog mix) – Angie has gone to Old Dog Haven, an absolutely wonderful local group that provides loving, safe homes for senior dogs. Please consider adopting a senior dog, or contributing to ODH to help with the great work they do!
Cosmo (yellow lab mix) – available for adoption
Ace & Usa (kittens) – adopted!
Bella (dilute torti kitty with loads of personality) – available for adoption
Mama (lap cat) – available for adoption
Dove Family (Bubbles, Promise & Picasso) – available for adoption
Houdini (Quaker Parakeet) – available for adoption
Archimedes (red-eared slider turtle) – available for adoption
Bunnies (Bella, Luna & Roscoe) – available for adoption
Chinchillas – seven currently available for adoption
My name is Pria. I’m a 10 year young, female, Pug-Corgi mix – have you ever seen anything cuter?! I’m a social butterfly who loves people.
I have a pretty balanced life – going for a walk, smelling the grass, chasing the ball are my favorite activities. Of course, how can I not mention sleeping as well! I like to chill at home as much as going out.
Since I love people so much, I prefer to be the only pet in the house to get all the attention. I’d be ok with older, respective children (12+ years old) or in an adults only home.
Pria (SAS ID #14-19007) is enjoying the good life in a foster home. If you would like to meet her, you must submit a Dog Adoption Application to SAS. Download the application and follow the instructions for submitting via email or fax. Or you may pick up an application at the Shelter. If you have general questions about this dog, you may call the Shelter’s Animal Care Staff at (206) 386-4294.
