Queen Anne Community Council opens up nominations for member elections

Have you ever wanted to represent the interests of the Queen Anne community? Help ensure a voice in future developments that impact Queen Anne? If so, you may be the perfect candidate for the Queen Anne Community Council.
The annual election of members to the QACC board is September 17th at the QACC annual meeting. Candidate nominations are open to all Queen Anne residents, as well as owners or employees of Queen Anne businesses.
In the September meeting, the QACC will elect 11 members to 2-year terms and one member for a 1-year term.
If you’d like to run for a slot on the QACC board, all you need to do is contact Ellen Monrad via email and send along a 50-word or less statement about why you’d like to be considered.
