Entre Amis signLast week, while I was away for a few days on vacation, the newest restaurant on Queen Anne opened its doors. We first gave the heads up on Entre Amis Bistro back in January, when we discovered it would be taking over the old Portage (then the short-lived Cioppino) spot at 2209 Queen Anne Ave N.

The French restaurant is now open and serving simple, seasonal food that plays on French classics with products from the Pacific Northwest. According to Entre Amis, Chef Matt Cyr, has created a small menu that will change frequently. Mainstays are a selection of charcuterie and cheeses, as well as a selection of French wines and beers, or sparkling wine cocktails.

Entre Amis extThe interior underwent renovations, resulting in a casual and intimate space that can hold up to 30 people (so, call ahead to make reservations, especially for weekend nights).

Entre Amis is currently open from 5pm to 10:30pm, Tuesday through Sunday. The restaurant is planning to expand in the future to happy hours, private events, wine dinners, and brunch.

Owner Benjamin chose Queen Anne for his French bistro “because the location had all of the aspects to make his visions come true. Most importantly the neighborhood reminds him of a village in France with Queen Anne Ave being the center.”

Stop by to welcome our newest business to Queen Anne!
