The annual Trick-or-Treat event along Queen Anne Ave N is quickly approaching – and this year it comes the day before Halloween. Since Halloween falls on a Saturday this year, the Upper Queen Anne merchants are holding the annual event a day early.

Mark your calendars for Friday, October 30th from 3pm to 6pm. As in past years, merchants along Queen Anne Ave N between Galer St and McGraw St will be handing out candy to costumed trick-or-treaters. It’s always a fun event for the little ones and families, as well as the merchants who dress up in festive costumes to hand out thousands of pieces of candy each year.

And, a heads up for Queen Anne residents – kids won’t be worn out from trick-or-treating along Queen Anne Ave on Halloween, so batten down the hatches and have candy at the ready, they’ll be fully charged for a night on the neighborhood streets.

As always, please be careful on Halloween and watch out for ghosts and goblins on the streets, and on Friday, October 30th, please avoid driving down Queen Anne Ave N to keep everyone safe.

Happy Halloween!
