Goodbye Pizza Hut, hello… pizza?

Local News, Planning & Construction, Queen Anne Business

For years, Pizza Hut was a fixture at the corner of Queen Anne Ave N & McGraw. Then, the spot went up for lease and Pizza Hut closed up shop. Now, thanks to a reader’s tip, we have an idea of what will take its place – and it looks like a pizza place.

Construction workers have been busy at the 2231 Queen Anne Ave N for the past month and the windows are papered over, but the work underway requires permits. And, permits are public record. Thanks to our reader-turned-detective, the permits are filed by the owners of Evviva Woodfired Pizza.

Evviva Woodfired Pizza currently operates a location in Edmonds. It serves woodfired Neapolitan pizza and has pretty solid Yelp reviews. No confirmation yet on plans, but if it’s indeed another location for Evviva Woodfired Pizza, Queen Anne Ave will have another pizza place to anchor the north end of the business district.
