It may not feel like summer yet, but it’ll happen soon enough. And, with summer comes the annual Queen Anne Helpline Fun Run/Walk. Run or walk with your neighbors around the Crown of Queen Anne on Saturday, July 15th, and help the Helpline at the same time!

The annual event is a tradition on Queen Anne, drawing roughly 600 walkers and runners. The Fun Run starts at 8am and its followed by Queen Anne Day events like the annual Festival and Sidewalk Sale. You can start your day circling the top of the hill, then spend the rest of the day checking out the festivities at Big Howe Park and along Queen Anne Ave N.

Register in advance online, at the Queen Anne Farmers Market on June 29th, July 6th, and July 13th, or the Magnolia Farmers Market June 24. If you wait to register until the day of the Fun Run, on-site registration starts at 7am.

Registration is $35 for adults, $40 for day-of-on-site registration. All registered walkers and runners get a t-shirt (while they last). Kids under 5 are free, and you can get a kids’ t-shirt for $10.

The Fun Run starts at Queen Anne Lutheran Church at 8th Ave W & W McGraw St, and ends in front of Coe Elementary on 7th Ave W. Register today and join your neighbors on a Saturday stroll or run around the hill!
