Thanks to a tip from a reader, there’s some news in the Queen Anne yoga studio world. One studio is closing, another is changing management and names, and some are sticking around:

Closing: Home Yoga (523 1st Ave W) will be closing at the end of July.

Opening: Yoga Life/Om Culture (8 Boston St) is currently closed for renovations until mid-July, when it will reopen as Sangha Yoga. As of July 1st, the studio has new owners, Heather and Scott Falkin. Sangha Yoga will honor all short-term passes for three months after July 1st. Annual passes purchased prior to June 1 will also be honored through the end of the term.

Other Studios:

Eka Yoga (621 5th Ave N) opened in September. Eka Yoga is a non-heated yoga studio that reconnects yoga and ayurveda, and offers yoga classes,  guided meditation classes, workshops, events, Thai Yoga Bodywork, and Ayurvedic Consultations.

Haute Yoga (2131 Queen Anne Ave N) offers daily heated yoga classes taught by experienced Hot Hatha and Power Vinyasa instructors. The Upper Queen Anne studio has an infrared heating system, an outdoor courtyard, and cushioned hardwood flooring.

Core Power Yoga (300 3rd Ave W) has a Lower Queen Anne location, in addition to many franchise studios across the US.
