It’s Thursday, and that means another market day along W Crockett. The Queen Anne Farmers Market is open from 3pm to 7:30pm to fill your market needs.
Here’s the info you need to know to plan your late Thursday afternoon and/or evening:
3pm: Market Music
Come see Peter Williams’ cello students play. They’ll be up near the entrance – by Cupcake Royale.
3pm-7pm: Community Tent
Bring your kids by Queen Anne Chamber of Commerce’s “Holidays in July” to enjoy some holiday fun and learn about how you can get involved with lighting up Upper Queen Anne Avenue this winter.
Plus, you can get 2017 QAFM shirts, bags, posters, and NEW-this-year picnic blankets for sale at the Information Tent starting at 3pm.
4pm: Queen Anne Greenways Annual Playstreet

4pm-6pm: Roots to Shoots
This week, we have an extra-special event planned! Junior Sous will be hosting a kids’ cooking class and demo at the Kids’ Tent! Come learn all about flavors. They’ll be hosting a blind taste test of different jams AND they’ll be having a customizable lemonade bar using fruit and herbs from the market.
4:15 Yoga on the Lawn:
Join Madeline Finch Yoga as she leads a 45-minute, family-friendly practice on the lawn. Bring your yoga mat and prepare to have a lot of fun. Donations will be accepted.
5pm: Market Music
In partnership with the Playstreet festivities, we are thrilled to welcome Snake Suspenderz. A quartet featuring vocals, ukulele, trombone, guitar, tuba and drums, Snake Suspenderz has their own unique style they like to call Cartoon Jazz.
5pm: Event Tent
Collections Café will be sampling their delicious raspberry, white chocolate panna cotta.
