President’s visit will briefly close monorail

The monorail will be out of service today for about 10 minutes sometime between noon and 1:30pm because of a “VIP visiting Seattle.”  We don’t think President Obama is actually taking a ride on the monorail.  It appears the brief closure will be for security reasons as he travels downtown for a fundraiser at the Westin.
