A man and his friend ran into serious trouble after taking a trip to the Space Needle.  When the two came down from the top of the Needle around 11pm last Wednesday (9/15), they were confronted by a man on the sidewalk.  The man started yelling about the economy and called one of the victims a terrorist.  He then took out what appeared to be brass knuckles attached to a belt and got very close to the victims causing one of them to run away in fear up 5th Ave North.  Police later found the suspect in the Memorial Stadium parking lot.  Although the belt with the knuckles was designed as a clothing piece, officers arrested the man for trying to use it as a weapon.  The case was handed over to the city attorney’s office law department for further investigation.
