Three weeks of Mercer night closers begin tonight

This is a reminder that up to three weeks of nighttime lane closures on Mercer Street and 9th Ave N will begin tonight, so that the Seattle Department of Transportation may install some underground utilities. According to SDOT, there may be as many as three lanes closed from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. near the intersection. While work is going on, at least one lane will remain open on Mercer Street for eastbound traffic.
