The John Hay Foundation’s annual auction– “Make Our Dreams Take Flight“– raises funds for many vital programs that are no longer funded by the school district. Money raised through this event funds programs for the students, such as art and music education, reading specialists, Sound Partners Tutors, the Pathways program, math intervention tutors, and reduced class sizes at John Hay Elementary.
All of the classroom art is currently displayed at Domani. The auction hosts invite everyone to go and view the art. There are some stunning pieces and all are available for immediate purchase.
Bidding is open through May 4th, at 9:30PM. Pass the word and invite everyone you know to bid on fantastic items and experiences donated by the community and beyond.
The top items right now include a Swanson’s Nursery Gift Card and a year’s supply of bagels from Noah’s, but I’m thinking there’s a hardcore Flashdance fan in Queen Anne to bid on this autographed photograph of Jennifer Beals (courtesy Mail Mann).
