Another weekend, another list of events and activities – and this weekend, there’s also a slew of traffic impacts with the I-5 on & off-ramps for Mercer St and the 520 bridge closed all weekend, along with parts of Fairview Ave N and Mercer St in South Lake Union.

On the upside, there are plenty of events to keep your mind off nasty traffic snarls, including quite a few FREE family-friendly activities. Also – this weekend’s round-up includes Monday, as the Seahawks are at home for Monday Night Football.

Weekend Traffic Impacts from WSDOT:
11pm Friday, September 21 – 5am Monday, September 24
I-5: Mercer Street on & off-ramps closed – WSDOT UPDATE – ramps close Saturday at 5am
I-5: on-ramp at University Street closed
SLU: Mercer Street closed between Westlake and Fairview Ave N
SLU: Fairview Avenue N closed between Mercer and Valley
SLU: Fairview Avenue North closed between Valley and Republican
520 Bridge: closed
I-90: expect increased traffic due to 520 bridge closure
