If you’re looking to hit up local garage/yard sales on Saturday, and want to check out items you won’t typically find, including holiday decorations (yes, it’s almost that time of year), take note of this Saturday’s Sample Sale put on by a group of product designers!
Product designers collect a variety of product samples throughout the year, many of them brand-new – and this particular group holds a Sample Sale once a year, benefitting a different charity. This year, the proceeds will benefit the Approve R74 Washington United for Marriage campaign (representatives will be at the Sample Sale, collecting proceeds directly).
What can you find at this sale?
“We have tons of holiday stuff, including close to 1,000 glass and shatterproof ornaments, figurines, nightlights, wreaths, shelf sitters and more. We also have some housewares items, such as platters, 3-tier baskets, and coffee mug sets. Not to mention jewelry trees, vases, and candleholders. You’ll even find some outdoor decor, too, such as ceramic pots, glass birdbaths, birdfeeders, and hose reels!”
