As part of the Seattle Center’s Next 50 Closing Ceremony, Bartell Drugs is sponsoring a trip back to 1962 with $1 Space Needle Observation Deck tickets. On Sunday, October 21, from 9:30 to 11pm, you can ride to the top of the Needle for the low 1962 price of $1.
Tickets are limited to one per guest and are good for 2-hour time blocks throughout the day. Supplies are limited and tickets will sell out, so arrive early to get your tickets.
As previously reported, voting has been underway for the next Space Needle design and closes on Saturday, October 20. The winning design will be announced on Monday, October 22, and the Needle will be painted as soon as weather permits. The new design will remain atop the Needle through April 21, the end of the Space Needle’s 50th year.
