We’ve made it through winter and most of spring, and now there’s a sure sign of summer on the horizon – the Queen Anne Farmers Market opens this Thursday, and will be open every Thursday from 3pm-7:30pm until October 31st.
Our local QAFM is the only independent farmers market in Seattle, and volunteers are on-board to help keep it running! How can you help? Pick up a QAFM yard sign to help advertise the market, they’ll be available at the QAFM kiosk starting this Thursday.
This year’s market features over 50 Washington farms, artisan food producers and street food vendors – including a somewhat new set-up for food trucks that’ll highlight a few different trucks per week, plus more seating.
And, to kick off the season, the opening day includes a cooking demonstration with Seattle City Council President, Sally J. Clark and Councilmember, Richard Conlin, a Radish Run & Relay for kids ages 2-10, and a musical performance by Rich Brisbois and Cindy Arasim. Here’s the opening day schedule:

And, to help plan your afternoon or evening at QAFM, you can check out this year’s vendor list – there are quite a few familiar names, as well as some exciting newcomers.
Be sure to stop by the QAFM at Queen Anne Ave N and West Crockett St this Thursday and every Thursday through Halloween!
