The Queen Anne Greenways community group took a summer break from meeting in August, but it’s time to kick off Fall! The first meeting of the new season is this Tuesday, September 24th at the Queen Anne Library meeting room.
The meeting runs from 6:30-7:45pm, and this month the meeting agenda includes Seattle Greenways’ Heather Trim and SDOT’s Jennifer Wieland. Heather will update the group on Greenways progress and Jennifer is the Program Development Lead of the Public Space Management Program, Street Use and Urban Forestry. She’ll help educate the group on how to work with SDOT and understand public use of spaces.
Queen Anne Greenways has already made progress with the new pedestrian signal at Highland and Queen Anne Ave N. Everyone is invited to join Queen Anne Greenways and help make Queen Anne safer for all, just show up on Tuesday!
