Seattle Animal Shelter Pet of the Week: Gabe, Murf, & Rudy

Pet of the Week

On Fridays we feature an adoptable pet (or pets) from the Seattle Animal Shelter (SAS). SAS is located at 2061 15th Ave W, just north of Whole Foods, at the corner of W. Armory Way. SAS is open Wednesday – Sunday, noon-6pm.

Queen Anne View has not met any of these pets – SAS is providing us with the description, as they know them well. We encourage potential adopters to get in touch with SAS and work with them to evaluate the compatibility of your home and a new pet.

Pets of the Week – Gabe, Murf & Rudy

Gabe

Meet Gabe, Murf and Rudy! These handsome young boys had a rough start to life, living outside. But now they’re enjoying the warmth, comfort and companionship of a SAS foster home and can’t wait to find their forever families.

Gabe (Siamese mix) is the most confident, so far. He’s quick to greet his foster family at the door, and he loves to purr and snuggle. He’s quite an active kitten who enjoys playing and exploring. Gabe is curious and ready to discover new things.

Murf

Murf is the black kittie with a big heart. He likes to follow his brothers around and wrestle. It took Murf a little while to decide if living with people was alright, but now he thinks it’s a good idea.

He can be a little shy, so you’ll have to be patient with him while he gets to know you. But don’t let his shyness fool you – he’s a great friend and companion! He enjoys a warm lap and will happily take a nap with you while you’re watching TV.

Rudy

Rudy (Siamese mix) loves to wrestle and play with his brothers, and he’s bold when exploring new things. Rudy isn’t too excited about being held but he enjoys sitting next to people and having them stroke his fur.

Cats love feline companions, so consider adopting a couple of these great guys! By adopting two, you ensure that your new kittens have playmates and companionship for the rest of their lives.

Murf, Gabe and Rudy (SAS #13-8858-1, 2 and 3, respectively) are in a foster home, not at the Shelter. If you would like to meet them, please call the Foster Care Hotline at (206) 684-0685 to arrange a meeting.
