Seattle police arrested an armed man Wednesday night after he opened fire outside a Queen Anne apartment following a dispute with a neighbor.

Officers received a report around 9:30 PM that an argument between neighbors in the 1000 block of 6th Avenue N had spilled out onto the street.

When officers arrived, they found the suspect was carrying a shotgun. The suspect then fired off at least one round from his gun.

Officers radioed for backup and reported the gunfire, drawing police from across the city.

Police were able to get the 26-year-old suspect to surrender, and take him into custody.

SWAT and patrol officers are searching the suspect’s apartment to see if anyone else involved in the incident may be inside.

No one was injured in the shooting.
