If you’ve ever been curious about adopting a retired racing Greyhound, or if you’re just looking to add a gentle giant to your home, you can learn more about these dogs at a meet-n-greet event tomorrow, and in the future too.

Every third Sunday of the month, Greyhound Pets has an event to help Greyhounds find forever homes at All the Best. Since 1985, Greyhound Pets has been working to find homes for retired racing Greyhounds from the US, Ireland, and South Korea.

Once these dogs arrive at Greyhound Pets, the organization spays/neuters, bathes, and tests temperaments for cats, children, small dogs, and more. The goal of Greyhound Pets is to “ensure a seamless and successful” transition to forever homes.

The meet-n-greet happens tomorrow (Sunday) and every third Sunday each month from 11am to 1pm. A local Queen Anne resident and Greyhound owner runs the event, and brings adoptable Greyhounds along with him. You can find out more about the breed, ask questions, find out about volunteer opportunities, and give lots of pets and love to the visiting Greyhounds.

If you’d like to meet adoptable Greyhounds or find out if these gentle giants are the right fit for your home, attend tomorrow’s event at All The Best Pet Care (2127 Queen Anne Ave N), or mark your calendar for an upcoming 3rd Sunday of the month.
