We’ve had a lot of readers asking about Le Reve this week, as a “for sale” sign went up on the fence outside of the building earlier this week. Readers were concerned that the sign might mean Le Reve is going away, but it’s here to stay.
The building is for sale, but Le Reve is neither moving nor closing. The bakery has a 5-year lease with an option to renew for another 5 years. And, thanks to Queen Anne residents, this independent small business is going strong.
According to Le Reve owner, Andrea Nakata:
“Le Reve is not going anywhere! In fact, we have a lot of new and exciting things happening at the bakery right now such our baking classes, catering events and special group meet ups at the bakery! We love our current location and more importantly we have developed such a strong loyal clientele who have become part of our Le Reve family that I could not imagine being anywhere else but Queen Anne!”
