Queen Anne Days is three weeks from today, so mark your calendar for a day of fun with neighbors. The day kicks off with the annual Crown of Queen Anne Fun Run, then the festivities move over to Big Howe Park. This year, Queen Anne Days is one day only, Saturday, July 9th, from 11am to 8pm. And, there are activities for both kids and adults.
This year, Queen Anne Days honors the memory of former Video Isle owner and all-around neighborhood champion, Craig Wilson.
The event kicks off with a Kiddie-n-Doggie parade (queue up at 10:45am by the Queen Anne Community Center). Then, all day FamilyFest children’s activities and activities, a Beer, Cider & Wine Garden, food and business booths, a stage with local entertainment, Seasoned Citizens events, Art and the annual Car Show.
To help with the event, Queen Anne Days seeks volunteers and business owners, nonprofits, and artists for booth spaces. If you would like a booth, the cost ranges is $50 for nonprofits, artists, and community groups, $100-200 for businesses – and half the fee benefits the Queen Anne Helpline and the Queen Anne Community Center.
