QA Helpline Tree SignIt’s that time of year, as we head toward the Thanksgiving holidays, the Queen Anne Helpline is making plans for its annual Christmas Tree Lot – and that means a call for volunteer cashiers!

The Christmas Tree Lot will be in its usual spot in the north parking lot of the Upper Queen Anne Safeway. The Helpline partners with Boy Scout Troop 72 to sell Christmas trees and holiday decorations to raise money for helping neighbors in need.

Volunteer cashiers are needed to help Queen Anne neighbors buy their holiday trees, and if the weather is chilly, the temporary Christmas Tree Lot trailer is heated! Volunteers need to be 16 years old or older, younger volunteers are welcome if accompanied by an adult.

Sign up here for a slot and do so soon – these fun volunteer opportunities are filling up fast! And, remember to buy your tree right here on Queen Anne and help the Helpline at the same time!
