UPDATE: Sad news to report from SFD about this morning’s house fire. Here’s the news directly from SFD:

“Firefighters quickly initiated a search after extending hose lines into the residence. Flames were visible from the back-right side of the house with smoke coming from the front door to the ground, and additional flames impinged on the residence to the right. During the search, Firefighters discovered an adult female in the kitchen area deceased. Crews continued to fight the housefire by cutting holes in the roof to evacuate smoke, and by applying water to the areas of the fire to douse flames. The fire was successfully extinguished at approximately 7:05 am.”
