Seattle Animal Shelter Pet of the Week: Tula

Tula is a sweet-natured older dog who never causes any trouble! She is extremely loving, quiet and calm.

She’s good with other dogs and seems comfortable with all kinds of people. She’s house-trained and enjoys short walks.

Mild weakness in her hind legs give her some mobility issues, like trouble climbing stairs at times. She needs a home without stairs or with a family that is willing to assist her when necessary.

Tula likes being around people but also does well alone for periods of time while her owner is out or at work. Tula would be a great companion for a family or individual looking for a low-maintenance dog and/or a buddy for another dog.

The lovely Tula (SAS ID#34353339) is being adored in a foster home; you won’t find her at the Shelter. If you would like to meet her, you must first submit a Dog Adoption Application to SAS. Download the application and follow the instructions for submitting it via email or fax. Or, you may pick up and drop off an application at the Shelter.

Updates on previously featured pets:

Katniss (laid back feline) – available for adoption
Misty (affectionate tabby cat) – adoption pending
Peaches (young male rabbit) – adopted!

Disclaimer: Queen Anne View has not met any of these pets – SAS is providing us with the description, as they know them well. We encourage potential adopters to get in touch with SAS and work with them to evaluate the compatibility of your home and a new pet. Happy adopting!
