Campfire BBQ is on hiatus for now

Local News, Queen Anne Business

While this weekend didn’t exactly kick off like summer, the sun did break out. And, the more seasonal weather may have you craving BBQ. Sadly, the best BBQ on Queen Anne (and, arguably, Seattle), is currently unavailable. Campfire BBQ is closed while owner Stefan recovers from a back injury. Great BBQ will return, but no definitive date just yet.

Here’s the info directly from Campfire:

For those of you who have not heard the news yet … Stefan, our Master of Meats. has suffered a back injury which is forcing us to take a hiatus of unknown length from the very labor intensive world of BBQ while he heals.

This means that we are currently unavailable for business, but the Beer Garden at Citizen will remain open with a rotation of food trucks and guests serving out of the Chuck Wagon.

Thank you to everyone for your love and well wishes. We appreciate the outpouring of support from all aspects of this wonderful community we’ve built!

Stay tuned, and we’ll be sure to bring news of Campfire’s return when available. Best wishes for a speedy recovery to Stefan!
