It’s Market Day: Queen Anne Farmers Market Special Events & Vendors for July 13th

It’s Thursday, and that means another market day along W Crockett. The Queen Anne Farmers Market is open from 3pm to 7pm to fill your market needs.

Here’s the QAFM info you need to know to plan your late Thursday afternoon and/or evening:

3pm-7:30pm: Community Tent
Come see Queen Anne Helpline at the Community Tent to pick up your Fun Run shirt and number (if you’ve registered online) or register on the spot!

Plus, you can get 2017 QAFM shirts, bags, posters, and NEW-this-year picnic blankets for sale at the Information Tent starting at 3pm.

Bag and Stroller Check Station presented by David Rice of Edward Jones. David will also be selling some QAFM picnic blankets so you can relax on the lawn and enjoy the music.

3pm-7:30pm Event Tent

Join the physicians and staff of Seattle Face & Skin as they provide information about how best to protect yourself from the sun as well as what to look out for when it comes to skin cancer. They’ll also be setting up appointments for free skin cancer screenings in their office on Queen Anne.

4pm-6pm: Roots to Shoots
Program begins at Kids’ Tent sponsored by Re:Design Builders. This week, Seattle Tilth is at the Kids’ Tent with their awesome worm bins. You don’t want to miss it!

5pm: Market Music

After playing a variety of instruments in rock bands throughout the Pacific Northwest, singer/songwriter John Hribernick formed acoustic duo Those Guys with singer/percussionist Carl Lovgren in 2006. Singer Kristi Barnes joined in 2011, and the group now performs as a duo featuring John and Kristi.
