Meet Storm!
Storm is an extremely friendly cockatiel looking for just the right forever home where she can show off her beautiful feathers and social skills. Cockatiels are intelligent and active birds; they enjoy attention from their human friends, and need a spacious cage with multiple perches and lots of toys to keep them busy.
Your cockatiel should be fed a high quality pellet such as Harrison’s or ZuPreem Natural Avian Maintenance, and have access to fresh water at all times. Cockatiels also enjoy a variety of healthy fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as cooked pasta, brown rice and cooked legumes.
**Potential adopters should have researched a full list of safe and toxic foods, as some common foods are poisonous to cockatiels. Adopters with prior bird experience are preferred.**
As with all birds, your cockatiel will need regular checkups at an exotic vet. With good care and lots of love, cockatiels can live 20 years or more.
Storm (SAS ID #30229247) is at the Seattle Animal Shelter. Come in and meet this lovely girl today!
