Annual Christmas Tree Lot open with proceeds benefitting QAFB and Boy Scouts

The annual Christmas Tree Lot tradition continues on Queen Anne, in the north parking lot of the Upper Queen Anne Safeway. Local Boy Scout Troop 72 runs the Tree Lot, but this year, the Queen Anne Food Bank is stepping in as the local non-profit partner.

For decades, the Queen Anne Helpline has been the non-profit partner for the Tree Lot. However, in looking toward the future, the resources needed to run the Tree Lot no longer make sense for the Helpline. You can always support the Helpline through financial or in-kind donations like clothing, food, or toiletries – learn more here.

The Tree Lot hours are as follows:

Mondays – Thursdays: 5pm to 8pm
Fridays: 5pm to 9pm
Saturdays & Sundays: 9am to 5pm

If you’re looking to get a Christmas Tree and support local Scouts and the Queen Anne Food Bank, head to Safeway at 2100 Queen Anne Ave N. The Christmas Tree Lot will be open through Sunday, December 17th. Stay tuned for more ways to help the community in the holiday season.
